AntEye Obsidian Sync

Your notes.
Across your devices.

A personal setup for reading and editing AntEye notes in Obsidian, with Google Drive as the exchange folder.

What it does

Connect Obsidian and Drive

The setup uses the third-party GSync community plugin inside Obsidian. It synchronizes files between a local vault and a configured Google Drive folder.

This information website does not offer sign-in, store vault files or run the synchronization.

Why Google access is requested

Read and update note files

Google authorization lets GSync list, download, create and update Drive files for synchronization. The configured folder is a sync destination; it does not itself restrict the scope of the Google permission granted.

Review the permission shown by Google before authorizing. This is a private personal configuration, not a publicly offered storage service.

Understand the setup

Source preservation and backups are separate from synchronization. A sync run is not proof that every device received the latest file, and sync alone cannot guarantee against loss or conflicting edits.
